⚽ Sports: Arsenal vs AC Milan Reflections

In my view as a blogger and Gooner:

The win: Bukayo Saka’s gritty strike near the 53rd minute sealed a 1–0 pre-season victory over AC Milan  . It was a scrappy but satisfying goal, reinforcing his leadership on the pitch.

Player highlights:

Jakub Kiwior was solid at the back in place of Big Gabi who still has niggle issues. He delivered the assist for Saka’s goal and added composure on debut .

Teenage sensation Dowman was very much up to the hype when he was called on. Ethan Nwaneri, at just 18, he lit up the game with flair—two dazzling turns, a volley that forced a solid save—and fans are already demanding he starts more .

Other insights: Though Arsenal won on the scoreboard, they lost the ceremonial penalty shootout (6–5) despite Kepa’s heroics (three saves)  . Still, the trophy lift in Singapore highlighted a positive team spirit. What stood out most was the mix of youth and strategy—the perfect blend of academy promise and tactical depth led by Arteta.

Game Review: Dream League Soccer (DLS)

As a longtime DLS player:

Gameplay & Mechanics: The controls remain smooth and intuitive, allowing satisfying ball control and tactical substitution on the fly. The AI pacing feels improved—more realistic buildup plays and fewer random long-range screamers.

Graphics & Animation: The visuals have been boosted—crowd animations are livelier, player models more polished. Running into defenders triggers subtle jostles that enhance immersion.

Game Modes & Monetization: Career mode now includes mid-season transfer market changes that keep the experience dynamic. However, the in-app purchase model still nudges you toward paying for faster progression—be prepared to grind or invest if you want top-tier teams early.

My Verdict: DLS stays a top-tier mobile soccer sim. It’s ideal for casual and competitive play, delivering rich tactics and team building. With updated graphics and more responsive AI, it's worth the time—just be mindful of its paywall edges.
