Mistakes

I’ve been reflecting on how mistakes evolve:
The first time you slip up, that’s a mistake.
The second time? It’s no longer accidental—it’s a decision.
By the third repeat, it starts to shape your habit, and if left unchecked, it becomes part of your character.
That’s why I’m intentional about learning quickly—so mistakes stay isolated moments, not patterns.

Avoiding Repeats
I’m committed to recognizing when I’ve erred and making the effort to course‑correct immediately. I journal, reflect, and sometimes ask for feedback—because breaking the cycle early is crucial. Preventing repetition means the mistake stays in the past where it belongs. Its so hard to do. Excellence is annoying.

Sports – Big Spenders Round 1 (Title contenders: Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool)

Liverpool have completely re‑engineered their squad this summer: they’ve spent nearly £295 million, making it their most expensive window ever. Key signings include Florian Wirtz (£116m), Hugo Ekitike (£79m), Frimpong (£29.5m), Kerkez (£40m) . This just says this is part of a long‑term strategy after winning the title .

Manchester City were even more aggressive in January: over £180m on outgoing transfers like Gonzalez, Marmoush, Khusanov, Reis—total £295m+ spend since early 2025 . They remain driven to reclaim the title.

Arsenal also backed themselves with reinforcement: around £119m spent including Kepa (£5m), Zubimendi (£70m), Nørgaard (£10m) and Madueke (£48.5m + add-ons) .

Game Review – Torn City

Torn City is an incredible RPG world I’ve been immersed in. It’s text‑based, but rich and engaging—a slow, strategic grind that rewards patience and planning.

Based on what I’ve read, players describe it as “slow‑paced but rewarding… a lot of reading… long‑term goals” . It’s not flashy—no cutscenes—but that’s part of its charm.

Every action, from crimes to training, costs you energy or nerve, which recharge over hours—so you progress in measured, thoughtful bursts .

I love how it mirrors real life: steady effort, low churn, high patience. I log in, do what matters, then step away until refresh. That's my kind of game.
